Saturday, June 18, 2022 - So good. 5 hour decant. Aroma is somewhat underwhelming, faint aroma of cherries and cedar. But on the palate the wine is exceptional. Dark cherrry, blueberry, tobacco, white and black pepper, baking spice, black tea, cocoa. Full bodied, complex, long finish that starts like German Chocoloate Cake, in a way, but as the finish lingers the coca, tea, and spice last longest. And so we come full circle: soooo good.
