2 hour decant. Vegetal notes, savory meats, rosemary. A bit of tobacco emerging after another hour. Medium acisity and resolved tannins. Dark red with no signs of aging. Stellar. ,

Pop and pour. Last bottle of six. Showing mature and lovely, acid forward with herbs and a touch of apple cider. Delicious wine and no reason to hold further.

So good. 5 hour decant. Aroma is somewhat underwhelming, faint aroma of cherries and cedar. But on the palate the wine is exceptional. Dark cherrry, blueberry, tobacco, white and black pepper, baking spice, black tea, cocoa. Full bodied, complex, long finish that starts like German Chocoloate Cake, in a way, but as the finish lingers the coca, tea, and spice last longest. And so we come full circle: soooo good.

Consumed over a few days, after an extensive decanting. As noted by others, this wine benefits greatly from prolonged decanting. It was in fact much improved by day 2, compared to day 1. As others have noted, lots of dark fruit here, substantial body, smooth tannins. The only thing that I was not so enthused about was some lingering sweetness on the finish. But, overall this is really fine stuff.

Fantastic wine! Beautiful dark fruit, black berries, black currant. The palate resembles the nose. A beautifully balanced wine with silky tannins and perfect amount of acidity. Drinks well now but will improve over the next 5 years.
