Monday, November 21, 2011 - Decanted and poured, this wine showed well with excellent balance and nice combination of youthful and mature notes. The aromatics remain youthful with an underlying maturity. The color is a translucent medium ruby that is correct for the wine age. The medium bodied palate shows balance and medium length finish where tannins and acidity remain present. This is nearing its peak but may benefit from an additional year or two of bottle age.
