95 Points

Tuesday, May 12, 2015 - Another exceptional showing. Very ripe and intense dark fruit driven nose, blackberries, rare bacon fat and dark spices. Exceptional concentration, unctuous/almost chewy, ripe sweet black fruit driven palate impression, good acidity and nicely integrated tannins. Still very primary but very promising. If you like the opulent primary fruit, this is perfectly enjoyable. The wine to look for at auction sub $100, if you like the style of La Las. For some folks, so many reasons not to like. It is a hedonistic wine for my palate.
