Friday, March 20, 2020 - Everything I expected from a Cote-Rotie. Meaty, earthy, gamey with lots of fruit backbone and acidity. Seems like it might be perfectly in its prime with several more years to go. So beautiful, lithe smooth tanins that haven't started to fade, lots of olive and smoked meat, this is simply delicious. Opened around 2:00 PM for drinking around 7. Wonderful long finish.
