Monday, November 21, 2016 - Double decanted and left 1h in the bottle. Red fruit, spices and earth on the nose. High acidity, great fruit and a lot more structure than a Sonoma Ceritas tasted alongside. Lovely balance and a slight earthy aftertaste. This will need another 5+ years to gain more complexity, but overall this is the wine of the night that gains the most from being left to breathe in the glass. Would have liked to follow over a longer time but a 2-3h tasting round of some 10 wines didn't allow for more. 92-93p
