Monday, June 29, 2015 - So concentrated with extreme great age are the flavors and the extract that the sugar is not really so noticeable, and the wine clings to the sides of the glass as a film, not legs, and barely drips down at all. For all that, it is lively on the palate, not thick in the way that PX can be, and loaded with ripe fruit, herb, coffee, chocolate, and old Armagnac-like notes. The finish is endless and the balance flawless. One of the great wines of my life.
