Thursday, May 12, 2016 - The 2nd wine in 4 blind wines and the nose captured me right away with loads of umami, smoke, orange peel, high toned fruits and musk. It pulled itself more toward the fig cake, melted licorice, herbs de provance, hoisen and soy over the next 3 days. I was a bit surprised when this was revealed as Janasse as most the others i've had always toe the line between modern and OW and this was a different more feminine with finesse style.
