Tuesday, August 23, 2022 - Northern Rhone night at Chaoshan: Correctly identified as a warmer vintage Cote Rotie from either 2009 or 2012. A little reduction on the nose that never quite blew off even with air. Made in an elegant, lighter style that was quite different to a 2013 that I tried before that was more brutish and typical of the plot. Good salinity and very pretty wine. Clearly stood out from the rest and most voted this as WOTN including myself.
