Tuesday, February 8, 2011 - Nose: cherry, chocolate, roasted almonds. Taste: deep, with strong tanins and rough-velvet texture. Has a vivid bitter feeling to it, reminding of the Amarone provenance associated with the Corvina grape, that comprises 70% of this wine. Coffee, chocolate and cherry flavours. Long strong finish. Will buy again and keep for another few years.
