I thought I would try it, and I just couldn't wait to be sure that the Christmas dinner had a great wine and this is so luscious that I may not share them. What a long finish with many, many layers. It will last cellared for many, maybe 30 or more years. I was worried about the 14% but it is not hot, just full and fabulous. A new wine for me. Now the 2002 Pichon is my second favorite. Noticed it was $235 in the shop.
