Sunday, February 28, 2016 - Black cherry color. Ripe, lush nose of forward black cherry and blackberry fruit, with underlying baking spice. In the mouth, forward and in your face, with ripe Pinot fruit that's classic Rochioli in style. The acidity has become almost fully integrated, giving the wine a touch of a flabby feel. Still delicious, just very up front. A-

    3/6/2016 6:38:00 AM - No decant. I've got another bottle that I'll probably give a few years, but I'm curious to see if it'll go secondary at all. I think this is probably at its peak right now, but I never underestimate the wines from this vineyard.
