Friday, April 14, 2017 - Interesting. PnP. Medium color, bit of bricking on edge..a bit. Bit of funk, bit of age on the nose. Kirsch on the nose. More aged nose than expected. A bit roasted on the palate. Surprising for 13.9 abv, but this was a warm vintage. Modest finish. An hour later, still kirsch on the nose. More resolved on the palate, but still a burnt element. Burnt orange. Long time W/S list member and fan, but not a big fan of this wine. Purchased straight from W/S and stored in cellar since.
