Thursday, November 19, 2020 - Fourrier theme lunch at Maison Dakota. Drank in Grassl Cru.
Appearance is clear, pale intensity, ruby colour. Legs.
Nose is clean, medium+ intensity, with aromas of sweet spice, friend said geranium flowers, red cherries, cool licorice. Developing.
On the palate, dry, high acidity, medium alcohol (13.5%), rounded medium tannins, medium+ body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavours of ripe fleshy red cherries, black cherries, a lot of sweet spices, licorice, underlying cool dark minerality. Long finish.
Very good quality. Good substance. Fleshy, but still needs more time to develop and show its complexity.
