Wednesday, August 3, 2016 - Decanted for two hours; moderate sediment; garnet in color. Nose of cherry, vanilla and pencil lead. Full-bodied, somewhat jammy, dark fruit on the palate, with lively acids and soft tannins. Lengthy finish. Overall, a very enjoyable wine which should be drinking well for another ten years or so. Also, at $36/bottle, a good QPR.
