Saturday, January 9, 2021 - Prior bottle was nearly 10 months ago and my notes were consistent. Black cherry, blackberry, earth and vanilla notes on the nose. Medium bodied with rounded black cherry upfront, adding some brighter blackberry through the middle along with some tart red cherry towards the back. Balanced spices, some earth notes and tannins through the back. Acidity minerals and some vanilla through the finish. The acidity was a bit unbalanced at first and stuck out a bit towards the back initially, but it moved into balanced with some more time open. Showing well now, but additional time won't add anything and this is best enjoyed between now and year-end 2022.
