Saturday, November 1, 2014 - A Barolo Day-2010 Flight and a Few Adolescent Wines (SF Wine Trading Company and Acquerello Restaurant): Medium red. Peppery nose which seemed out of place. Smooth, middle weight feel due to substantial oak. Beautiful plummy fruit, notes of espresso, and round tannins which rise and bore their way right into your gums! Modern style, but packed with flavor and interest. It will need a full 20 years to become more civilized.
