Wednesday, September 19, 2007 - Dark ruby garnet. Initially earthy/spicy nose opens up to show more blackberry liqueur, cinnamon, apple skin and subtle mint notes. Quite dense and extracted but not hard or rough, with lowish acidity but sufficient juiciness and wonderful length. This has all the markings of a one-time monster that has mellowed with age into a harmonious entity. An outstanding warm-climate Cabernet.
