Monday, June 25, 2018 - PnP. Opaque, ruby red fading to a significant strip of orange at the edge. Aromas of dried cherry, leather, tobacco, wet dirt, some herbal notes. On the palate dried fruit, a bit of heat, medium acidity, medium- tannin, a slight astringent note, finishes with a warm note. This tastes mature to perhaps a bit past peak. Nicely balanced complexity.
