Sunday, September 4, 2022 - This bottle seemed a little better than the previous one a couple months ago. Great ruby color with little sign of age. Nose has lots of complexity with layers of spice, cherry, florals and vanilla Lenny of earthy notes. Palate reflects the nose with a little more emphasis on the earthy elements including some fresh mushroom and cedar. Nice texture and acidity despite being a little higher in ABV (14.9% but not really too noticeable) than I usually prefer. Nice long finish. Great with grilled antelope tenderloin.
