Monday, June 7, 2021 - I remember trying this beauty in the 2008 vintage a little back and quite frankly, I was surprised (tasted blind) by how young this showed, though it opens up beautifully!! Super classy, pure with tight energy; lemony, salty citrus-based aromas and flavors with chalky minerality that develops really nicely. Floral perfume in the mouth provides interest to the otherwise fine, linear fruit. Widens with air time and should age very well. A few people thought it could be an '08 Blanc de Blancs.
