Tuesday, January 20, 2015 - Very pretty, light, fun wines, though I don't understand the ridiculous amount of hype around these. Very earthy, red and blue-fruited, with a bit of a candied carbonic-like note. Nice medium saline finish. Opens nicely with an hour or two of air, but begins to collapse after a few hours. A Mourvedre-based Beaujolais? Enjoyable, and a solid $20 wine, but this is nearly $40.
