Sunday, April 14, 2013 - A balanced wine of gentle force and and lingering anticipation for a cold, clear early-spring day. A deep, seductive nose leads to a well-textured and structured wine with approachable, but still restrained, mature fruit. The finish lingers, leaving you imagining what must be beneath that heavy blanket of midpalate. Requires hours in the decanter.
