Sunday, March 8, 2015 - 65% Sauvignon Blanc, 35% Semillon, fermented 'sur lie' in French oak barrels. Bright, light gold. Nose of maple-cured bacon, lemon custard, and baking scents. Smooth and viscous with flavors of oak and lemon. I would mistake it for a chardonnay if I didn’t know better.
