90 Points

Thursday, June 1, 2017 - A relatively pale red wine, with just a see through ruby, but a good example of how a wine can drink well without being big. For one thing, the lack of a powerful and dominant flavor lets a chorus of secondary flavors sing together, including red cherry, raspberry, evergreen foliage, underbrush, earthiness, and lilac. Also, drunk with food, the wine harmoniously melds with the food flavors instead of overpowering them. Overall, elegant and savory.
