Full and voluptuous on the palate with medium-plus density, acidity and tannins. Rich flavors show notes of fig preserve, blueberry compote, black plum and blackberry pastilles with notes of brown sugar, sweet anise that resembles Mike and Ike's, tobacco, leather, mocha, dried violets, vanilla and baking spice with a vein of slate and rocky mineral. Long on the finish with plush tannins.
