Thursday, March 17, 2022 - Boy this was showing well, much more open and expressive than in 2016 when I had it last time. Confirms that top Burgundies should not be touched before year 10. Captivating nose of sour cherry, dried meat, farmyard, spices, a Leroyesque aroma profile of "why we drink Burgundy". Very popular at the table tonight. Elegant and fresh, good mid-mouth presence, long finish. Right up my alley.
