Saturday, May 22, 2021 - A really well made wine, but not quite at prime time yet. Reluctant nose of black cherries and vanilla. On the palate, cassis predominantly with a slight bitter finish. The amazing Grenache centric chocolate and coffee notes haven’t yet emerged. A little “hot” on the way down, but decent acidity and freshness. Wait 1-2 years to open the next one.
