Wednesday, June 24, 2015 - The nose was intense and dark with exotic spice, floral tones, pine, tobacco and hints of dried cherry. On the palate, it was at first silky and medium-weight, yet fine tannin coated the senses as notes of tart cherry, balsamic tones and floral rose saturated the senses. The finish was firm, showing dried red fruit and spice, as a bump of acidity provided a refreshing lift. This was a pleasure to drink.
