Friday, May 26, 2017 - I was amazed at how this one drank. It outperformed a Mondavi 87 Reserve. The cork crumbled out, but the wine had not completely saturated the cork. Decanted. The entry of this wine was still a rather hearthy blackberry and some mint. Middle of the wine had some darker fig, but the primary note was still blackberry. I think this one might be over the hill, but only JUST on the other side, remarkable given its age. Very happy that I still have 3 of these, because this wine is really quite good. Definitely 93 or 94 point wine.
