On the palate the wine showed red fruit, red cherry, coffee, tobacco, black tea and earthy notes, with prominent, medium-plus acidity, medium-plus tannin and very good length. The medium-bodied wine was reasonably balanced if a little rustic and finished dry. Drink now.
