Saturday, June 23, 2018 - Wow, this bottle is in a great spot. While this wine has always been a little too sweet for my preferences, today it seems nicely balanced. There is definite sweet strawberry, but I was eating local strawberries so who cares?! Age has been kind; the nutty, yeasty quality adds interest. There are hints of melon and a hint of lemon curd. Tight bubbles and balanced acidity rounds out the finish.
