Saturday, February 25, 2017 - Ripe berry fruit with cedar, smoke and savoury spice on the nose. Continues on the palate with more black cherry, bramble and ripe plum. A hint of florals with still reasonably prominent tannin. Ha softened with age but was a bit flat and lacking in he mid palate. Still great wine and very complex but was expecting a little more, especially mid palate. Maybe drink younger or decant in future and see if it just needed more air??
