Friday, March 15, 2019 - Decanted for an hour. This has the typical racey red fruit I associate with Mencia, but also a bit of mocha and smoke. The palate shows nice tannins and burning red fruit. There seems to be a hint of cork taint here, so I will not score the wine, if it were not for that, I'd say this is ripe and ready and should be rather nice.
