90 Points

Thursday, August 21, 2014 - This pale yellow wine is substantially better than its regular (undesignated) Sancerre brethren. Lemon verbena, honeysuckle and notes of stone fruits on the nose are followed by a crisp, light-bodied palate with similar flavors. The alcohol (listed as 13%) is tightly integrated and the middle palate is solid. Medium-to-long at the back end, this wine carries its freshness all the way through the finish. In this particular case, the step up in price represents a step up in value. Drink now-2017.
