Thursday, May 15, 2014 - Clear, dark mauve, faded pink rim, with very slow developing, almost non-existent tears.
Clean, med- intensity, sour cherries and red currants, struggling to smell the fruit, mustiness, flint, giving way to a slight perfume.
Dry, med- body, med+ tannins, med- acidity, med+ alcohol, nice complexity, further tastes of tart strawberries, cooked cherries, ash. It is still quite young with a medium finish.
