Friday, November 7, 2014 - Medium garnet color. Nose of stawberry rhubarb, bramble, and cherries; light smokiness develops with air but not in an overoaked way. Smooth and fairly light on the palate but delivers red fruit flavors (currants, strawberries, raspberries, etc) with a nice acidic backbone. Tannins are faint and just enough to give some dryness on the smokey finish.

Nice old-world acidic structure and balance with new-world fruit and smoke notes. Provides a fair amount of flavor while being light on the palate. Good entry level pinot for ~$22.
