Agree with most of the comments by Yaozi. This is a very good Oregon Pinot with clean, moderate nose and flavors and good length. Wish I had more of these. Favorite of 3 Pinots from Burgundy ( 2010 Thenard Givry), New Zealand (2011 Craggy Range Te Tuna Road ), and Oregon (2012 Evening Land). Served with grilled standing rib for Thanksgiving and very good match for the food and occasion.

This is a very nice Pinot from Oregon. It still has subtle tannins and has none of the cloying sweetness characteristic of many Pinots in the $10 to $20 price range. It is distinctively Burgundian in style, although light and almost flowery in it's delicate flavors. Excellent Pinot to drink over the next two to three years.

Med red; tart red cherry nose; same tart cherry, pomegranate flavors but no body at all; flavored water finish although the acidity kept it from being flabby

Clear, Purple color. Aromas of cranberry, raisins and strawberries. Dry, medium plus bodied, High acidity, medium tannins and alcohol. Good flavors of cherries, cranberry, strawberries, herbal and mineral notes with a solid oak backbone. Just enough oak to embark a good structure but not over doing it. Short easy finish. good wine and recommended.

Good, simple, straightforward Pinot. Ripe cherries and raspberries with some spice and a little barnyard funk. Got better as it went along. Works at the $20 I got it for, but overpriced in the $30 range it came out at.

I was blown away by the Seven Springs and underwhelmed here. No edges. Soft. Nondescript. No flavor delineation. Tasted next to the Calera equivalent and it was no match. Good. 84 $28

Raspberry, cherry, barnyard and spice on the nose. Raspberry, cherry with a hint of herbal or mint. Served with pork rost, new potatoes, corn and salad. A good easy drinking Pinot Noir.

Tried a sample of this via coravin. Solid purple color. Very rustic and earthy with darker fruit. I would say give this some air or bottle time. Fuller body. 89+ points.

Not bad as these are getting closed out at under $20. Tastes like OR pinot. Not the really delicate, stemmy and ethereal Oregon Pinot, mind you, but the foresty, fruity, non-cola-y kind of Oregon Pinot. Not going to turn heads, but it's a nice example in a world of sub-$20 Pinot that tastes like Sryah, or Merlot, or...

PnP. Pretty austere on opening, nose is bright, fairly standard. On the palate: strawberry, ripe cherry, smoke. Tight and slightly bitter, improves with air and a little warmth. Overall, unimpressed, especially at $25. Maybe the single vineyards are better...

Aromas and flavors of cherry, strawberry and raspberry. Didn't get cola like some others have said, but something like sasparilla or root beer / vanilla / floral flavors, but in the background to the red berries. I agree with others that it's on the sweeter side for an Oregon pinot, but not cloying or off-putting. Delicious! Just ordered more.

Pnp with friends. Pretty nose of strawberries, cola and spice. Light on the palate with a pleasing finish. Drank a second bottle last night (4/3) with similar impressions. Nice QPR. Would gladly buy again or bring to a dinner party.

Color: transparent, light violet -> pale ruby rim. Very Pinot-appropriate appearance and very light Pinot-nose: rhubarb, beetroot, strawberries and raspberries and a touch of vanilla. Palate a little thin for me -- red berry fruit coming through, but finishes just too short. It's clean but not particularly complex; not a patch on Evening Land's more serious offerings.

Medium bodied, fruit-forward but balanced. Hints of stemminess or other woodsy flavours. Nose is earth and a bit of heat, actually, even with 13.9% alc. This is the kind of pinot you can pull out any time at $17 and it actually tastes like Pinot.

Entry level Oregon Pinot Noir from this growing global producer of quality wines. Cherries, minerality, some earthy tobacco notes and a salty finish. For $20 it's a great wine and I paired it with hangar steak and lentils on a Thursday night.

Popped and poured. Red cherry fruit and earthiness on the nose, with a hint of tobacco. Taste is pretty straightforward with the red cherry. Nothing too complex, but enjoyable. Could see this being a crowd pleasing wine for casual drinkers.

Fruit forward, nose of strawberries and white flowers, wound tight tart strawberry with a slight hint of blueberry, followed by lingering peppercorn finish. Would like to revisit in a year or two. Must buy another bottle though.

Good PN nose, medium to light in the mouth, hints of minerality and complexity, very well balanced with modest fruiit. Best on opening, still good after a few days in the wine cooler, but less interesting. Well made if not outstanding.

50% opaque brilliant dark ruby in color. Aromatic underpinnings of classic Oregon twang but what's most appealing about this wine to me is the layers of rich fresh cut strawberries. And hints of beautifully balanced toasty/spice box notes. Mouth-filling but never heavy. The finish is clean but lingers successfully. Quite an accomplishment for ~$20 street price.

Medium garnet color. Nose of stawberry rhubarb, bramble, and cherries; light smokiness develops with air but not in an overoaked way. Smooth and fairly light on the palate but delivers red fruit flavors (currants, strawberries, raspberries, etc) with a nice acidic backbone. Tannins are faint and just enough to give some dryness on the smokey finish.
Nice old-world acidic structure and balance with new-world fruit and smoke notes. Provides a fair amount of flavor while being light on the palate. Good entry level pinot for ~$22.

We liked this wine, not a fruit bomb, fairly sophisticated, a bit of mineral. Nothing extraordinary that will make you focus on the wine over your conversation or food. Went well with salmon. Reasonable OR pinot at $20.

Tasting with Tenzing at Señor Pan. Spicy. Plush purple fruit. Smoke and gray peppercorns. Plum city. Palate is juicy and fruit forward. Thick and creamy texture on the finish.
