Tuesday, April 29, 2014 - 3% viognier co ferment. Half whole cluster if I got that right. Long slow cool feremented. Never above 80 so not super fruity but also not blowing off esters etc. Pick pretty early, so juicy. One new barrel out of six. So a touch of new oak on it. Frankly really good syrah. Question is, whos buying?
Oasis vineyard. Super, dusty loamy soil type which comes through in the wine as a blue berry preserve signature in the wines.
