Monday, October 24, 2016 - I seem to have better bottles/experience of this wine that other CT reviewers. Similar to my last note, this was initially all acidic wet leaves, but blossomed with a few hours of air in a glass and again reminded me of a top old Clos St Jacques with a combination of earthy/leaves/tertiary interest, a touch of savouriness and remaining core of sweet fruit. Also has the pale tawny-rose appearance. This bottle had a slight hint of mint and clove on the finish which was very refreshing and draws you back for another sip. Really enjoy the mid-palate richness and elegant traditional wine-making of Oddero (their old vintages are highly under-rated imho). Drink now-2030. 94pts
