Tuesday, June 27, 2017 - PnP and let sit in the glass for about 10 minutes before sampling. Color is inky purple. Aromas of blackberries, blueberries, mocha, vanilla and a bit of stem. On the palate lush fruit and vanilla with some tannin. Drinking with and after dinner of grilled hamburgers, a tossed green salad with some fried Prosciutto, and some leftover faro salad with fennel, parsley, lime basil, leftover corn. A nice wine with food and after food. About 90 minutes after dinner the wine is a pleasant, medium bodied wine with a hint of sweetness in a somewhat mouth-drying finish.
