Sunday, April 13, 2014 - Classic, mature California Cabernet nose of cedar, cassis, and black cherry. Palate is medium thin in body, with bright acidity. The black cherry fruit is slightly maderized, with mild spice. Finishes gracefully with eucalyptus freshness, though lacking backbone. It was a little tight with a few wood tannins noticeable after opening, but they quickly dissipated with air. This was an enjoyable bottle, even if a few years past peak.
