89 Points

Monday, April 18, 2016 - This vibrant, pale yellow wine serves up citrus peel, melon and dried herbs, accented by a note of papaya (which is attributable to the dollop of Sémillon added to the final blend). Despite being listed as a heady 14.8%, the alcohol lurks quietly in the background and does not detract from the varietal correctness of this wine. Solid in the middle and concluding with a medium-length, tangy finish, this is a "poster child" for the California Sauvignon Blanc style. Drink now-2017
