Saturday, May 22, 2004 - Consumed at the Roche Cayucos home. Bottle provided by Amy Weinberg. Bright disc. Medium yellow-gold robe with clear rim. Clean nose, showing a moderately intense bouquet of citrus, dust, nutmeg, mint and pear. The wine is additionally slightly oxidized at this point. Medium-bodied on the palate, with medium acidity and similar flavors as for the nose. Medium, smooth finish. Quite nice at this point, but showing signs that it best be consumed within the next 2-3 years.
