Wednesday, May 21, 2014 - South African Wine + Surf Trip; 5/17/2014-6/1/2014 (Western Cape, South Africa): Smells of currant jam, tobacco leaf and iron. Sweet plum and black cherry fruit on a silky-smooth frame with fine tannins. Very easy-drinking, fresh and juicy, with accents of tobacco and spearmint.
