The palate is really extrracted, ultra sappy, blackberry liqueur, Port-like, oak, full bodied with nice soft tannins, but showing the heat on the mid and back end. I know a lot people will likely still enjoy this. For me this is a tough style to begin with as it just doesn't have the kind of balance I prefer. To that point, I don't think this weill be served well by further aging - and was probably better a few years ago. Drink up.
