Tuesday, October 1, 2013 - I first had this wine maybe 5-6 years ago and I think this wine has peaked. This time around, we popped and poured BYO to a restaurant. The blackberry fruit forward character was still present but not as deep and the complexity seemed to have wound down a little and length a little shorter. It's still an excellent Aussie Shiraz but I think it's time to start popping these babies if you have any remaining. I'm thinking another 5 years of good drinking window.
