Sunday, June 11, 2017 - AP 23 14. Stunning precision and balance! The development this has shown since the initial release is confirming that this will end up being one of the finest Donnhoff bottlings I've ever had. The cut of the acidity gives this an amazing levity and three-dimensional depth that seemed lacking in the 2015 bottlings. Although sweet, it retains the playfulness and versatility of a Spatlese, and doesn't seem to be going through a shut-down phase like the corresponding lower Pradikat bottling is in right now.
96-97p and improving with age!
