Wednesday, April 19, 2017 - Did a side by side of 4 2012 Zinfandels from Sonoma: Seghesio Old Vine, Monte Rosso, and Cortina plus Mazzocco Smith Orchard Reserve. Alll were escellent(above 90): the Cortina was on the light side and the Old Vine was much stronger and the Monte Rosso was in between with more subtleties, tobacco mushroom. The Mazzocco was the strongest of the four to the extent of being over powering and considered the least favorite.
