Tuesday, April 2, 2024 - Decanted for about an hour, then served blind alongside the 00 Sperss. The nose showed more closed with a bit of a green streak to go along with oak spice and black fruit. Polished palate similar to the 00, and still quite young. The fruit is a bit reserved on the palate, not quite as deep or complex as the 00 but also displaying a modern international style. The 98 and 00 were very similar, I had a slight preference for the fruit/palate of the 00.
